I followed a tutorial to make this vase, I think it was a very good tutorial very easy to follow and I learnt some new things.
I used a circle which I then extruded multiple times and scaled each section to form the shape of a vase .
The floor is just a plane with a texture which i downloaded which I also did for the vase. But what makes it look so good and real is because I messed around with lighting and shading so much...

I used three lamps, one high up, one low down and one behind the vase aswell as ambient occlusion.

I also used two layers so there was only one shadow. Lamp two (the lower lamp) and the floor are the second layer.
